Medicine Conference with the theme " Optimizing clinical complexity 2023" focuses on the idea of ‘patient centered medical cognition’ and features fascinating and inspiring content from speakers supported by global experts, covering key areas in medicine. Complexity is a direct product of system 2 cognitive processing and one may switch it off completely by using system 1 cognitive processing and the idea behind this conference is to optimize the two approaches. Our key note speaker, Prof Joachim Sturmberg is a Foundation President at International Society for Systems and Complexity Sciences for Health and teaches Medicine at Newcastle University, Australia. https://www.newcastle.edu.au/profile/joachim-sturmberg
He's our long term collaborator and author of many impactful papers, book chapters and books on clinical complexity (more here :
https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Joachim-Sturmberg) and we are looking forward to his synchronous inputs in our clinical complexity conference as he logs in live from Australia on Jan 25.
For details on last year's conference on Jan 25,2022 please click here: https://ashiness92.blogspot.com/2022/01/clinical-problem-solving-2022.html
The conference is aimed to serve as a platform for the medicine community to share best practices, acquire knowledge, and debate innovative approaches for "optimizing clinical complexity" together.
Speakers will not only present original cases as last year but this year they will also share data driven insights from their own two year project work on similar patients around their chosen topic.
